Why another tech blog?
There are thousands of tutorials on the internet already. I'm not adding to the pile to teach React again. I'm writing here for three reasons:
- To force myself to think clearly. If I can't explain it, I don't understand it.
- To leave a trail. The decisions I make on side projects today will look strange in six months. Future me deserves the receipts.
- To meet people. The internet rewards the people who show their work.
What I'll write about
I work on identity, cryptography, and authentication at my day job, and I tinker on side projects in the evenings. So expect posts on:
- Building a micro-SaaS around my password-obscura npm package.
- Authentication and identity — WebAuthn, DIDs, post-quantum.
- Contributing to open-source (specifically Ghost).
- Honest retros from running side projects on top of a fulltime job.
